How do you "find your purpose"?
Many of my clients are going through times of major transition, and these are the times that make us step back and wonder what our unique place in the world, our contribution to the world, is meant to be. Us therapist-types often say "follow your passion" as if it's a clear goal, with a clear sequence of steps laid out. But what do we do when we need to find our passion, our purpose? I found a great article: "7 Strange Questions that Help You Find Your Purpose" by Mark Manson, via Elizabeth Gilbert (of "Eat, Pray, Love" fame). Warning, there's some unseemly language, but it's well worth it to ask these questions periodically. Have fun with it.
